(August 17, 2023) – Surf Internet℠ has deployed multi-gig, fiber-optic internet services in the City of Valparaiso, Ind., delivering speeds of up to 2 gigs for residents and business owners. Surf celebrated this milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held at Central Park Plaza on Tuesday, August 15.

After strong community demand for high-speed broadband, Surf is set to immediately provide fiber internet service to a mix of commercial and residential locations with expansion throughout the community over the next 18 months. These first homes and businesses are part of a broader investment in Valparaiso by Surf, which expects to invest over $20 million of its own capital and complete construction by 2025. Prior to the current project, Surf collaborated with ValpoNet to connect Valparaiso schools to fiber internet services in 2020.
