The event marks Surf’s $4.1 million investment to bring high-speed fiber internet to thousands of homes and businesses in the community.
WARSAW, Ind. (February 27, 2025) – Surf Internet® has officially launched its fiber-optic internet service in Warsaw, marking the first large-scale residential fiber deployment across much of the city. The company recently celebrated this milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in partnership with the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce.
As part of a $4.1 million investment, Surf Internet is building out its fiber network to bring fast, reliable internet to more than 3,500 homes and businesses in Warsaw and nearby Winona Lake. The first phase of construction is complete, making fiber internet available to 345 addresses. Residents can choose from 1 Gig, 2 Gig, and Surf Ultimate 8 Gig plans, delivering the speed and reliability needed for remote work, video conferencing, online learning, HD streaming, gaming, and more.
“Warsaw is a vibrant and growing community, and we’re proud to be part of its future by making fiber internet accessible to local homes and businesses,” said Jordan Holzwart, Surf Internet’s regional market manager for eastern Indiana. “We’ve had great conversations with city leaders and residents, and it’s clear that people want more options for reliable, high-speed internet. We’re excited to help meet that need and look forward to expanding access even further in the months ahead.”
Local leaders are also watching Surf’s progress with interest. “We are excited for Surf Internet to be live in a few neighborhoods in Warsaw. We will follow their progress this spring and summer as they build out their fiber network,” said Rob Parker, President & CEO of the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce. “We also appreciate them being members of the Chamber.”
Surf Internet is actively expanding its fiber network across northern Indiana, including in nearby communities like Pierceton and North Webster. Residents and businesses in Warsaw can check service availability by visiting surfinternet.com and entering their address. Those outside the current service area can sign up for updates on future expansion.
