Door-to-Door Program
The Surf crew is in your neighborhood
When fiber is lit in your area, our local team goes door to door to help neighbors get connected and to answer your questions in person.
*Our representatives always carry a Surf-issued photo ID badge and wear branded hi-vis gear. Restrictions apply. Go to surfinternet.com/terms for details.
Meet your neighborhood Surf team
The people knocking on your door are members of Surf Internet's Door-to-Door (D2D) team. They're trained, badged representatives who live and work in the Great Lakes Region, here to help your community get online now that Surf fiber has reached your home or business.
You'll recognize them by their branded hi-vis vests, Surf photo ID badge, and company device. They're never there to install anything at the door, they're there to introduce Surf and answer your questions.
Every team member completes Surf training and a background check before going door to door.
Hi-vis Surf vest, a photo ID badge with name and barcode, and a Surf-branded tablet.
Your neighbors, working in the same communities where Surf is building fiber.
Your neighborhood was lit with fiber
When Surf finishes building fiber on a street, our team visits to let residents know service is available and answer your questions. Here's why a rep may be stopping by.
To let you know fiber-optic internet has reached your address.
To walk through plans, all-in pricing, and any current offers for your area.
To talk through speeds, Whole-Home WiFi, and how fiber compares to cable.
If you'd like to sign up, to help you choose a plan and schedule installation.
The door-to-door process, step by step
Simple and transparent, with a clear path from a friendly knock to professional installation.
Surf finishes building fiber-optic infrastructure on your street.
A Surf team member stops by during daytime hours, ID badge visible.
They check that service is available at your home and review plan options.
Sign up if it's right for you. There's never any obligation to decide on the spot.
A professional technician completes installation at a time that works for you.
